Gumnut Long Day Care Centre is located in the Southern Beaches area of Dodges Ferry, 30 minutes South of Hobart. It is privately owned and was established as a 24 place centre in 1994 and expanded in June 2009 to a 50 place centre. Our new architecturally designed building is linked to the existing purpose built building by an arched walkway maintaining the sense of a small centre atmosphere.

The directors Pat Reid and Ellen Witten bring a wealth of knowledge and experience from both Tasmanian and Mainland centres and understand the importance of quality care for children and families. Educators are experienced and or qualified and are committed to and have a vision to provide the best opportunities for each child to learn, develop and play in a warm, happy and challenging environment.
